2025 ACC Future Sports Day
Graphic and Catalog Design for the '2025 ACC Future Sports Day' Main Event, Hosted by the National Asian Culture Center (ACC)
The objective of this project was to establish a unique visual identity for the main event while inheriting the visual heritage of the emblem—a core asset developed in the preceding project, the ACC Future Sports Day Identity Design.
The central keyword of the main event's graphics is "interaction," which naturally sparks among participants within the time and space of the sports day. Various modalities of interaction were visualized using the human silhouettes from the existing emblem paired with the organic curves that connect them.
The overlapping of these visual components illustrates a vibrant and multifaceted sports day, where participants continuously influence and shape the experience together. Notably, the four team colors of the sports day were integrated and layered through various blend modes, serving as the defining key colors that pierce through the entire project.
The catalog design consistently drives this visual concept forward through a layout strategy driven by elemental overlapping. Defying the constraints of the conventional rectangular grid, the typography and imagery intertwine and overlap across the pages—breathing organically within the layout to trigger an active visual interaction.
국립아시아문화전당 주관 ‘2025 ACC 미래운동회’ 본행사 그래픽 및 도록 디자인
본 프로젝트는 선행 프로젝트인 ‘ACC 미래운동회 아이덴티티 디자인’에서 개발한 핵심 자산인 엠블럼의 시각적 요소를 계승하는 동시에 본행사만의 독자적인 비주얼을 구축하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
본행사 그래픽의 핵심 키워드는 운동회에서 참가자들 사이에 발생하는 ‘상호작용’이다. 기존 엠블럼의 사람 형태와, 이들 사이를 연결하는 유기적 곡선으로 다양한 양상의 상호작용들을 시각화했다.
요소들을 서로 중첩한 표현 방식은 서로 영향을 주고받으며 만들어가는 활기차고 다채로운 운동회를 나타낸다. 운동회의 팀 색상 4가지를 가져와 다양한 혼합 모드로 중첩하고, 이를 키컬러로 활용했다.
도록 디자인 역시 요소간의 중첩을 활용한 레이아웃으로 비주얼 컨셉을 일관되게 관통한다. 사각형 그리드를 탈피해 지면 위에서 서로 얽히고 겹쳐진 타이포그래피와 이미지는 페이지 내에서 적극적 상호작용을 유도한다.
