THE REFERENCE ASIA 2019
<THE REFERENCE ASIA> is an Asian art community platform based on Asian editors, curators, and publishers. As the connection between cities and cities in the digital age becomes easier and closer, Asian young artists are opening new markets more actively. <THE REFERENCE ASIA> has begun in 2019 to revitalize the community focused on 'Asia' in the changing times. This year, we will hold the Art Book Library 2019, an international touring tour of five Asian countries,and Photo Prize 2019, the first Asian photography competition to discover new talents. In order to contribute to the growth of the art ecosystem centered on the Asian Network, <THE REFERENCE ASIA> aims to create various projects on the two axes of on-offline.
<더레퍼런스 아시아>는 아시아에서 활동하는 에디터, 큐레이터, 퍼블리셔를 기반한 아시아 아트 커뮤니티 플랫폼이다.
디지털 시대 각 도시와 도시의 연결이 더 쉽고 가까워지면서 아시아의 젊은 예술가들은 보다 적극적으로 새로운 시장을 개척하고 있다. <더레퍼런스 아시아>는 이러한 시대의 변화 속에 ‘아시아’ 에 초점을 맞춘 커뮤니티 활성화를 위해 2019년 시작하였다.
올해는 아시아 5개국의 아트북을 모은 국제 순회전 <ART BOOK LIBRARY 2019>와 새로운 재능을 발굴하기 위한 최초 아시아 사진 공모전 <PHOTO PRIZE 2019>를 개최한다. 아시아 네트워크를 중심으로 예술 생태계의 성장에 기여하고자 <더레퍼런스 아시아>는 온-오프라인이란 두 축에서 다양한 프로젝트를 만들어 가고자 한다."
