Invention Mine
INVENTION MINE, 발명광산 is an archival book of INVENTION LIFE, 발명생활, an internal project initiated within Cheil Worldwide in May 2018. INVENTION LIFE is a contest project for miscellaneous and innovative ideas of Cheil Worldwide employees. Among many four inventions were selected for a prize through in-house poll. INVENTION MINE introduces top 20 ideas. When the PVC cover overlaps with the paper cover reveals the book title 발명광산. The front flap of the PVC cover functions as a table of contents, and matches with the entry numbers of each invention.
<발명광산>은 2018년 5월부터 제일기획에서 시작된 <발명생활> 프로젝트의 기념지이다. <발명생활>은 제일기획 임직원들의 사소하지만 기발한 발명 아이디어를 공모하는 프로젝트로, 사내 투표를 통해 TOP 4를 선정했다. <발명광산>은 <발명생활> 프로젝트의 TOP 20을 소개한다. PVC 커버의 타이포그래피는 종이 커버의 그래픽과 겹쳤을 때 ‘발명광산’이라는 제목으로 읽히게 된다. PVC 커버의 앞면 날개는 목차의 역할을 하며, 내지와 겹쳤을 때 내지의 컨텐츠와 연동시켜 볼 수 있다.
