SIFF 2016 — Lucky draw

It should be represented with the situational context in which each object is crossed over into one image. I wanted to give this story in addition to give a strong visual impression of the graphic and its purpose.
‘서울 독립영화제 2016 럭키드로우’를 추첨권과 당첨공의 형식을 빌려 표현했다. 추첨권과 당첨공은 본래 수행해야 할 추첨과 당첨을 위한 정보를 주는 대신 영화제의 정보를 담고 있다. 이 추첨권과 당첨공은 서로 뒤섞여 부분을 보아서는 완결된 정보를 얻을 수 없지만, 반복되는 형식을 통해 정보를 조합해 전체 내용을 읽을 수 있다. 우리가 추첨권과 당첨공에 설정한 용도 변경 및 반복되는 장치는 영화제를 구성하는 여러 매체들로 연장되면서 통일성을 주는 그래픽, 영화제를 상징하는 그래픽이 된다. ‘무언가를 대표하는 그래픽이 어떤 모습이어야 하는가? ‘에 대한 고민은 하나의 상을 넘어 각 상들이 엮어진 맥락과 함께 이루어져야 한다. 그래픽이 강한 시각적 인상을 주고, 제 역할을 하는 것에 더하여 이 이야기를 전하고 싶었다.
