OAR CONTEMPORARY ART MUSEUM
The identity of OAR Contemporary Art Museum begins with seeing objects and the world from new angles. “Oblique Views” flows out of this, reflecting OAR’s slogan of “Discovering Beauty Today.”
The letters O, A and R are shaped from different viewpoints. These forms embody perspectival multiplicity while also naturally complementing the museum’s architecture and surrounding landscape.
The negative spaces and geometric forms within and around the symbol extend into a flexible graphic system. Used as frames for images and text or adapted across different compositions, they carry the logo’s visual principle across signage, exhibition graphics, printed matters, and other applications.
오아르 미술관의 아이덴티티는 일상의 고정된 시야에서 벗어나 사물과 세계를 새로운 각도에서 바라보는 경험에서 출발한다. ‘Oblique Views’를 시각적 개념으로 삼아, 오아르에서 마주하는 ‘오늘 만나는 아름다움’을 아이덴티티에 담았다.
OAR의 세 글자는 서로 다른 시점에서 바라본 형태로 구성된다. 하나의 대상을 둘러싼 다양한 시선을 담은 이 조형은 미술관의 건축과 주변 풍경이 만들어내는 공간적 경험과도 자연스럽게 연결된다.
심볼 안팎의 여백과 기하학적 형태는 그래픽 요소로 확장된다. 이미지와 텍스트를 감싸는 프레임으로 변형되거나 다양한 화면 구성에 적용되며, 로고에서 출발한 시각 원리가 사이니지, 전시 그래픽, 인쇄물 등 여러 매체에 유연하게 이어진다.
