ORDINARY REPORT — 02
Ordinary Report 02 is a collaborative project of design studio Ordinary People and editor Jongsori Kim that studies selected issue, work or people.
While we talking with a interviewee for this “ORDINARY REPORT — 02”, we realized that when we communicate each other, there is not just words(text). Also images coming and going for each other’s head. We thought this could be a interesting concept for graphic attitude of ORDINARY REPORT – 02. So we asked to intervieweeS that we need every images which came up for interview and also any images can represent yourself. Then we sprinkle that images between sentences. Even though it’s on the paper, while experience this mixed texts and images, you can feel like you also in that conversation.
오디너리 리포트 — 02는 디자인 스튜디오 오디너리피플과 에디터 김종소리가 함께 그때 그때 주제, 작업, 사람 등, 관심이 가는 대상을 정해 찾아간 결과물이다.
대상을 직접 찾아가 대화를 나누면서 우리는 단순히 말, 소리, 표정만을 주고 받으며 이야기하는 것이 아니라 이미지 또한 주고 받는 다는 것을 느꼈다. 우리는 이것이 지면 위의 디자인에 대한 새로운 접근이 될 수 있을거라 확신했다. 이를 위해 인터뷰 후에 각 대상들에게 대화 중 나왔던 이미지 뿐만 아니라 그들이 만든 이미지나 그들 자신을 나타낼수 있는 이미지를 달라고 요청했고 이를 대화(텍스트) 사이에 흩뿌렸다. 당신은 이 책를 읽으면서 단순히 오고갔던 대화를 옮긴 텍스트만이 아닌 그 대화가 이루어 졌던 자리에서 화자들 사이에서 반짝이던 이미지까지도 함께 느낄 수 있다.
