We designed a graphic identity for the boy group ENHYPEN’s 1st regular repackage album. Their previous album, “DILEMMA,” explores the growing pains of boys entering the world. This album, “ANSWER,” celebrates boys finding their own answers in an irrational society. We opted for ‘Thorn’ as a representation of the anxiety and confusion of boys looking for answers, and visualized it in two different versions: the ‘NO’ version symbolizes the lonely and cold city, and the ‘YET’ version manifests delicate nature, like rose thorns.
7인조 보이그룹 ENHYPEN의 정규 1집 리패키지 앨범을 위한 그래픽 아이덴티티 디자인을 진행했다. 지난 앨범 “DILEMMA”에서 이제 막 세상 밖으로 나온 소년들의 성장통을 이야기했다면, 이번 “ANSWER'“에서는 불합리한 사회 안에서 나름의 정답을 찾아 나가는 소년들의 모습이 담겨있다. 정답을 찾는 소년들의 불안함과 혼란스러움을 가시(Thorn)의 키워드로 해석해 삭막하고 건조한 도시를 상징하는 ‘NO’ 버전, 장미 가시와 같은 연약한 자연을 상징하는 ‘YET' 버전에서 각각 다르게 시각화했다.
