In 2021, Digital Wellness Spa (DWS) was born through the words of founder Heo Eon:
“Let’s create a platform where we can experience relaxation and leisure together in the newly digitalized landscape!”
Heo's statement encapsulates our vision to this day. Many digital-based technologies have changed our lives in many ways.
For the people living amidst the accelerated changes brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic, DWS provides a unique experience of respite and escape.
Amazing visuals intertwine with the digital environment to create hybrids from different cultures, virtual vacations, and emotional connections. These phenomena will comprise the beautiful memories that DWS presents to you.
We created the Digital-Wellness Program so that our customers can spend their time in a soothing and relaxed environment. Through various activities, such as sightseeing in virtual landscapes, trail walking, and high-quality spa merchandises, DWS provides a meditative experience that helps you focus on your surroundings and yourself.

Digital life suddenly entered the center of our lives in the coronavirus pandemic. Since we had to adapt so quickly, we have become unprecedentedly fatigued.
In this exhibition, hypothetical entrepreneur Heo Eon presents a new format of spa service called “Digital Wellness Spa.” A series of Digital-Wellness Programs provide a meditative experience and a unique future vision that allows guests to free themselves from the daily routine and focus more on their inner lives.
What would a post-corona break look like? Where does our future proceed from this borderland between the virtual world and the real world? “Digital Wellness Spa” brings imaginary all-inclusive spa resorts designed for better digital living into the exhibition hall.
Heo Eun, the founder of this business, tries to transplant the fragments of the new digital world we face into the conventional landscape of a paradise.
Will Heo Eun's solution be effective? What will be the role of artists in this new era? It remains to be seen whether the audiences' exhausted hearts will be cured.

마주 닿은 가상과 현실 세계의 경계에서 우리의 미래는 어디로 나아가는가?
<디지털 웰니스 스파>는 관람객들의 건강한 디지털 생활을 기원하는 가상의 올-인클루시브 스파 리조트를 전시장으로 가져온다.
온/오프라인과 디스플레이/전통 매체를 가로지르는 아티스트들의 작품들을 통해 관람객들은 우리의 새로운 일상을 다른 시각으로 바라보는 경험을 하게 된다.
가상의 비즈니스 운영자인 허은은 우리가 마주하는 새로운 디지털 세계의 파편들을 관습적 파라다이스의 모습에 이식한다.
과연 허은이 제시하는 해법이 유효할지, 새로운 시대의 아티스트들의 역할은 무엇일지, 그리고 관객들의 지친 마음이 얼마나 치유될지 지켜볼 일이다.
